Dr Maor is committed to our Public Health system and practices as an Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at Fremantle and Perth Children’s Hospital where he provides both an elective and trauma service. Dr Maor provides a public referral service for all knee, foot & ankle pathology and importantly Kalgoorlie is part of the catchment area of both the Fremantle and Perth Children’s Hospitals.

Paediatrics

In London, Dr Maor completed the world-renowned paediatric fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) for children. Following this he was invited back as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, the first West Australian Surgeon to be appointed to this prestigious post

Adults

Dr Maor has extensive fellowship experience in knee, foot & ankle surgery for adults. He has a keen interest in sports injury as well as treatment of degenerative diseases of the knee, foot & ankle. Where possible surgical management is performed through minimally invasive or arthroscopic surgery with arthroplasty still making up a significant portion of Dr Maor's practice using both traditional and modern robotic techniques

Athletes

Dr Maor completed fellowships at the prestigious Fortius Clinic, the clinic of choice for professional athletes in the UK and a FIFA medical centre of excellence. He then held a consultant post in the Orthopaedic Sports and Foot & Ankle department at Ichilov Hospital, Tel Aviv. Recently he has worked with elite athletes from the English Premier League, English Cricket and Rugby Union teams as well as elite tennis players, professional dancers and Olympic snowboarders. In 2018 he was the Consulting Orthopaedic Surgeon for Chelsea Football Club when they toured Australia
